Kelly was raised in the far north of British Columbia. Her father was a trapper and held a trap line through the rugged bush.
Growing up she was taught how to trap, hunt and preserve the hides. After moving south to the foothills of Alberta she married an avid hunter who increased her knowledge and love for hunting.
She attended taxidermy school in Calgary and has now over 25 years experience as a taxidermist. Nature has always been a huge part in her life and she gives great attention to detail in every animal she creates to look as lifelike as possible. Several of her accomplishments have been award winning animals.
